JOB DUTIES:
Research market data and create marketing campaign to attract business travelers at the corporate level in both USA and Japan. Research market conditions in local, regional, and national areas of both USA and Japan, and gather market information to enhance potential sales of business travel services, and support the implementation of marketing campaign. Provide marketing strategies for Japan inbound travel demands customized for high-end clients. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text and report to company management. Collect and analyze data on client demographics, preferences, needs, and traveling habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting business travel services demand. Conduct research on client opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, sales team, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Measure and assess customer satisfaction. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies. Seek and provide information to help employer strengthen business image and niche in the marketplace. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Gather data on competitors and analyze their services, prices, package details, booking systems, and method of marketing and promotions. Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature and industry news. Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning promotional campaign, vendor selection, pricing, etc. of company services and business travel packages. Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs, and support preparation and updating of marketing materials, including website, brochure, flyers, newsletter, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a closely-related field, plus at least 24 months of relevant experience in international market research and project management to support business development.
